As promised, here is a list of this year's college football bowl games. If anyone spots any errors in the bowl list, please let me know so that I can correct them. As of right now, the EagleBank Bowl is still undecided. Temple will play either Army or UCLA depending on the result from the Army/Navy game this Saturday.

In case you still don't know the drill, just look over each game and pick one winner between the two teams. Use whatever system you want to determine winners for each game, there are no bad picks . . . yet. Remember to send your picks to nothingtolose784@yahoo.com by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, December 18th. Also don't forget to include the tiebreaker: Tim Tebow's combined rushing and passing yards in the Sugar Bowl. That's it, let the picking begin.

So, I've been rereading some of our comments from last year, and it suddenly left me spoiling for a good fight. Anybody have the gall to tell me why McCoy beat out Suh in the Heisman ranking? Want to debate adding time to game clocks after only 1 of 24 incomplete passes? Correct me if it is a sin to passionately HATE an entire state? Lament the BCS? I am ready for you all!!! Well, not right now...I have to go to lunch.

Well, McCoy got more votes because a lot of the voters probably voted based on his career achievements rather than just this season. And a lot of them have difficulty voting for a defensive player. I'm not saying it's right, but that's how it happened.

As far as debating game clocks, I believe it was Tom Osborne who said, "Don't let the refs take this one from us." It wasn't the one second that beat Nebraska, it was their inability to stick the rock in the endzone, to kick a ball in bounds, and to tackle a player without grabbing the back of his collar. (That, and Suh just got to McCoy a little too fast on that last play)

As for hating an entire state, Tiff will have a major issue with you if that means you hate "Bushie."

And then there's the BCS that rubs out three undefeated teams and prevents them from the chance at a national championship (one of them from a BCS conference). Not only that, but one of the "BCS" bowls has two non-BCS teams playing against each other. These programs have enough difficulty scheduling good teams because everyone is too scared to play them. So they go undefeated and they still don't earn a shot at one of the "Big Boys." Not to mention we just saw this match-up LAST YEAR!

Your witness, Counselor.

Thank you, your honor.

You're right about McCoy, and they're wrong. We agree.

No, you can't blame officials...we shouldn't have kicked the ball out of bounds and should have tried to score, etc. But, you can blame the officials because they screwed up. If you blame your QB for throwing six picks, you can blame the official for not calling an obvious penalty, or whatever. And the fact is, it isn't so much the officials as the rules of the game that need to be consistent. Fix this, people.

UC and TCU got hosed. Boise played UC-Davis, so shut up. Who else is whining...here's the thing: Play the Game. If you go undefeated, win your conference, win your bowl game, be satisified. Ask the AD to buy you a $30,000 football. I'm not saying the national title doesn't matter, but let's not scrap everything that's good about football so we have a be-all end-all champion. I bet Boise would rather go undefeated than get beat 41-7 by Bama in the title game. Sure they MIGHT win. But I doubt it. If they really want change, then get into a BCS conference. I still say merge the WAC and Mountain West. And Cinci, hard cheese. Five years ago you were like NAIA or something. Be happy getting to the Sugar Bowl. And if you beat the Mighty Gators, put up a national championship banner and dare anyone from Texas or Bama to take it down!
